Container Port Capacity Modeling Projects
- Modeling exercise to determine start-up capacity and growth potential
- Modeling included following activities: Bulk, Break Bulk and Intermodal new build requirements and future capabilities
- Modeling exercise to determine capacity issues and to identify terminal bottlenecks
- Modeling included following activities: dock cranes, intermodal yard cranes, vessel loading/unloading, rail loading/unloading and gates.
Port Logistics Park
- Strategic consultant on proposed Port Logistics Park
- Included rail layout and rail/truck port access
CN, Prince Rupert Fairview Container Terminal
- Working closely with the Terminal Operator, developed the port/ rail operating plan
- Locomotive lease contract and railcar repair protocol
- Acted as a strategic consultant to the Terminal Operator relative to terminal capacity modeling
- Acted as port/rail liaison for all rail related issues such as railcar repair, locomotive supply, train schedules
- Fairview Terminal is now recognized as the most efficient container terminal in North America

- Initial Project Lead for proposed intermodal terminal in Greater Toronto and Hamilton area
- Managed all aspects of the project: Terminal layout, equipment selection, environmental review, aboriginal consultations, community consultations, government consultations

- Project Lead for new $250M Logistics Park
- Managed all aspects of the project: Terminal layout, customer negotiations, environmental review, government consultations, community consultations
CN, Proposed Plan Nord Expansion
- Project Lead for $5B rail expansion at the Port of Sept-Iles
- Managed all aspects of the project: Rail design, port material handling facility, customer contracts, environmental review, aboriginal consultations, government consultations
CN, End to End Container Supply Chain Scorecard
- Elaborated an integrated end to end supply chain scorecard for container international supply chain
- Ability to produce scorecards for customers and stakeholders measuring events for every container from its arrival on a vessel at port to its arrival at rail destination ramp.
